Insertion of duplicate chords

I'm using the newest version of MuseScore (ver 1.1). Since then when I submit a song there are several duplicate chords inserted in many measure when the sheet is converted for Wikifonia. Is that a bug with MuseScore or Wikifonia in the conversion. I have tried everything I know, but with no success. Is there a solution to this problem? I have more songs to submit, but am reluctant to do so because of this problem. Is anyone else using the newest version of MuseScore and are they having the same problem?

I have a score where the chord was repeated in one measure but not in a measure later that had exactly the same notes but different lyrics.

It seems to have something to do with the new facility in MuseScore that allows you to advance the pointer to the next beat by hitting the space bar, which allows easier placement of chords when the underlying note does not change.
