MuseScore vs. Finale SongWriter

I almost bought Finale SongWriter, but thankfully, I opted to get the 30-day free trial version first. The main reason was to include fretboard chords in my transcriptions, but they were giving me fits---acting buggy as all heck.

So, now I'm trying MuseScore 1.2. Does MuseScore support guitar fretboard chords?

Anyone here have experience with both programs? I'm interested in any feedback, on either program, that you guys and gals can give me.

Chord diagrams

The best I have used thus far is Sibelius which allows editing to the diagram. I write for guitar in my teaching and this software writes the tab as well.

One can play the piece from a keyboard, hear it back with a guitar, written in tab and/or standard notation, with chord symbol and their choice of a diagram. It also allows to produce an audio file which can then be converted to mp3 and given to the student with a pdf.
